Top 5: Reasons Laughter Does a Heart and Mind Good

 Statics show women suffer from mild to moderate depression more that ever.

There are many factors to consider.  One size doesn’t fix all, but what all health experts can agree upon is that laughter could be the best medicine.

1.  Laughing releases hormone called endorphins and dopamine.

 

2.  Laughter boosts your immune system.

 

3.  Dopamine is a natural high lifting your spirit. This will help keep your problems in perspective.

 

4.  Endorphins may dilate the heart’s blood vessels allowing more blood to flow to the heart giving it      more oxygen and nutrition, vital for heart health.

 

5.  Laughter is a stress buster.

 

You say you don’t feel like laughing, here are five ways:

 

  • Watch the antics of a baby anything . . . human, kitten, puppy, this at lease, will put a smile on your face.

 

  • Stand in front of a mirror and make faces.

 

  • Watch a funny movie.

 

  • Place one hand on your stomach and one on your heart inhale and exhale audibly with a      HAaaa, start off slow then increase the ha, haaa’s until you are laughing uncontrollably!

 

  • Type in “funny videos” into your YouTube account.

 

This will get you started.  Have fun! Laugh out loud, its music to the soul!
